Julienne Davis (www.juliennedavis.com) was born in Los Angeles. She left home at seventeen to move to New York to pursue a career in classical ballet. When she grew too tall to audition for the corps de ballet, she made the tough decision to quit dance and began a modeling career.

As a successful international model, Julienne's career led to her living and working in many cities, including Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Milan, Athens, Munich, Barcelona, Madrid, Tokyo, and Bangkok. During her numerous travels around the globe, she learned much about different peoples and cultures. Because London's vibrant cosmopolitan culture held a special allure for her, she made that her main home base for many years. While in the city, she became involved in other ventures, including fashion stylist, club promoter, singer/songwriter, and producer.

In 1998, she auditioned as an extra in Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut, but instead landed the pivotal role of Mandy Curran in the film. From that point on, her life changed drastically. She became an "It" girl in London, leading the celebrity lifestyle, with parties, press, and paparazzi, As a result, her acting, voiceover, and music careers flourished. Her main band Sophisticated Savage received a ton of press and great reviews. She sang, wrote and co-produced the band's debut album "Strange Paradise," which is currently available via her band's website, New Paradigm Music and iTunes. After many lucrative years in London, Julienne and her husband (renowned English DJ and writer/journalist Jay Strongman) made the decision to relocate to Los Angeles in the summer of 2006. They now reside in Los Angeles, California, with their three Abyssinian cats, in a mid-century modern home that they lovingly restored over a two-year period.

Maggie Arana was in a sexless relationship for many years and this experience was the impetus that led to writing "Stop Calling Him Honey." Maggie's story gives her a unique and personal insight as to why the "roommate syndrome" is so common with couples in a longterm relationship, and more importantly, what they can do to change it.

A UCLA graduate in English Literature (summa cum laude), Maggie Arana (Facebook page) has written for various Los Angeles-based publications including Music Connection, the now-defunct BAM Magazine, and the AAA travel magazine, Westways. A long-time lover of alternative music, she was a member of legendary early goth-rock band Kommunity FK. Maggie also enjoyed several years in the public relations business where she worked as a staff writer of press releases and other promotional materials.

Maggie lives in the Mount Washington area of Los Angeles with her two rescued cats and is in a very happy long-term relationship.
